Brevard is located in Transylvania County (population ~31,000) and is 45 mins south west of Asheville, 90 mins north of Greenville SC, and 20 mins west of Hendersonville.

History

Brevard and Transylvania County were founded in the 1800's; Brevard was named after Dr Ephraim Brevard who served with valor in the Revolutionary War.
