PIOLEDB - Invalid value for registry

After installing PIOLEDB on Windows 7.0, getting error message "Invalid value for registry" when attempting to connect to a PI server. Initially had installed PIOleDB-x64_3_3_0_1.exe and PIOleDBEnterprise_2010.exe. Installing PIOleDB-x86_3_3_0_1.exe corrected the issue. Both the 64 and 32 bit versions can reside on the machine without problems.
