OSI PI rtPortal
rtPortal is a web application that allows users to individually configure what
process and product information that they want to display and how they want to
see it on their personalized web pages. OSI rtPortal can be used to display
information from most any data source (OSI PI database, relational database (MS
SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access, etc), and other process historians.
rtPortal is built on Microsoft SharePoint or SAP Enterprise Portal and is made
up of a set of RTWebParts (pre-configured information building blocks) as a
library of display elements to allow you to manage your critical processes. For
example:

Graph of variable mill costs

Month-to-date production report trend

A data list of EPA alerts

An SQC chart for each product group
rtPortal allows you to see a bird's eye view of your company or facility with
the ability to drill down to the finest detail in real time. You could
configure it to view the current and historical state of your safety,
production, inventory, and environmental conditions with the ability to drill
down to which person had a safety incident, when, and how... or you could view
critical orders and drill down to where the order is being produced and how far
along it is... all in real-time. Real-time visibility is invaluable, but when
you couple that with the ability to seamlessly move back into historical data,
then you have an indispensible tool.
Automated Results has developed a core expertise in OSI PI process historians
including rtPortal. Customers are recording process, product, and IT system and
network performance information into the OSI PI data historian then providing
various tools for users to view and analyze that data (rtPortal, ProcessBook,
Datalink, ActiveView). With the introduction of rtPortal, they now have a more
powerful toolset that is easy to deploy and not only allows the sharing of
